Walk in NYC, 18 unusual self-guided tours, the map

This map shows you approximatively where you can go in the city🏙️ and each walk has a number.

Once you know where you want to go, find the walk by looking on the right of the screen ⇉ (if you are using a computer) or at the bottom of the page ⇊ (if you are using a phone or tablet).

You will then have its title with the name of the neighborhood(s) 🏤you are going to explore and if you follow the link, you'll have much more details about its content.

On the Home page, you'll find more general information about these walks and their philosophy, you'll know how to contact their author and how to learn something about him❓.

On the NYC page, you will have an introduction to the city, information on its weather🕶️, its public transport🚊 and some of its specialties🍔.

Good to know:

If you purchase all 18 NYC unusual self-guided tours for a reduced price, it will also be a good travel book and/or an original gift.

If you take Walk in NYC # 1, # 2, # 3 and # 4, also for a special price, they will allow you to explore most of Manhattan in a few days if it is your first visit to the city. city.

If you want to do loop tours only, useful if you park a car along the way, here is the link to the 5 NYC loop tours.
Where to start🏁:
  • Walk 1 because you'll be along 5th Ave then in Central Park, Broadway and Times Square: some classics!
  • Walk 2 to see the One World Tower, the Statue of Liberty and Wall Street: other classics!
  • Walk 3 to go over the Brooklyn Bridge then in Chinatown and Little Italy because you'll surely like the views of Manhattan from Brooklyn and the bridge then the animation and the restaurants that will follow!
Then:
  • Walk 4 because all this part of the city is quite trendy for good reasons (but it could also be very crowded on the High Line).
  • Walk 9 and/or 10 because these are two neighborhoods you shouldn't miss.

Once you have visited these, try something different like Walk 16 for the ferry ride🛥️, Walk 15 to see a part of Manhattan not often visited, Walk 5 to go on a gondola then discover a peaceful island.

Well, in fact, any of the remaining walks will offer you an unusual perspective on the city so take your pick or do them all!
